Job Description:
Position: Salesforce Administrator/Developer
Job Duties:
- Work with the Business group for requirement gathering throughout the planning and implementation.
- Provide and restrict access appropriately by using Profiles, Permission sets, Organization wide settings, roles, Owner based sharing rules, criteria based sharing rules, Manual sharing.
- Create Sharing Rules to provide access for limited users.
- Perform day to day administrative tasks and addressing production support issues (unlocking / re-setting passwords, modifying data, and creating ad hoc reports).
- Work with various salesforce.com Standard objects like Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Cases, Campaigns, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Create Workflow Rules to automate Tasks, Email Alerts, Field Updates, time-dependent actions and Outbound API Messages.
- Create Approval Processes and Email Templates, Letterheads in HTML and Visual Force.
- Perform Integrations with External Products and Managed Packages.
- Package and Deploy customization from Sandbox to other environments using Change sets.
- Design, and develop Apex Classes, Controller Classes, extensions and Apex Triggers for various functional needs in the application.
- Design various Webpage in Visual Force for capturing various customer inquiries and Implemented logic for migrating cases to different queues based on the type of customer inquiry.
- Work with various salesforce.com Standard objects like Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, Opportunity Products, Products, Price book, Cases, Entitlement, Reports, and Dashboards.
- Create Reports, Custom Report Types and Dashboards to track data of Standard Objects and Custom Objects.
- Maintain weekly data exports for data backup and recovery.
- Install and support AppExchange applications.
- Assist in the on-boarding and training of new Salesforce.com users.
Minimum Qualifications (must have):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required.
- Salesforce.com Administration/Developer certifications.
- 2+ years of design, configuration, customization and development experience with Salesforce and Force.com. Extra credit for Service Cloud expertise and Case management.
- 2+ Years of development experience with APEX, Visual Force, SOQL.
- 3+ years’ experience with business process, workflow and translating them into system requirements.
- Solid knowledge of principles and practices of software development lifecycle waterfall and agile.
- 2+ years of design, configuration, customization and development experience with Salesforce and Force.com. Extra credit for Service Cloud expertise and Case management.
- 2+ Years of development experience with APEX, Visual Force, SOQL.
- Understanding of Standard objects, Data Model, and Business process around them.
- Knowledge of best practices around securing and auditing custom applications on Force.com.
- Understanding of Salesforce Governor Limits and code coverage.
- Good knowledge on Organization Administration, Customization, Data loader, Reports, Dash Boards, Workflow & Approvals.
- Good understanding of SFDC platform fundamentals including security and sharing model.
- Excellent knowledge of Salesforce configuration and customization using APEX, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, SOQL/SOSL, and Force.com Ajax Toolkit.
- Knowledge of XML, HTML, DHTML, CSS, APIs (SOAP/REST/Bulk/Streaming), and JavaScript preferred. Should have knowledge on MS VISIO.
- Background in development of web based solutions using Java, JavaScript, Ajax, SOAP, XML and web programming in general.
